Why it feels gone
An Artifact lives inside the project or conversation that created it. There's no standalone page for it unless you publish it, and publishing it for someone else to use means both of you need a paid Claude Team or Enterprise plan. Unpublish it later and the data is gone for good.

Can I get my old Artifact back right now?
Search your Claude chat history for the conversation that built it, open it, and the Artifact should still render there. If you shared it publicly and later unpublished it, there's nothing to recover.
